Abstract

Data are presented on several aspects of the reproductive biology of varieties and forms of the coconut (Cocos nusifera L.) indegenous to Sri Lanka. The self fertilizing Typica. Aurantiaca has the shortest male phase of 16 days. The form Bodirishows the shortest female phase of two days.
